A Thavnarian owned, yet locally operated venture that claims itself to be an 'Alternative' to the brothels of Eorzea. Centered around indulging in the more platonic pleasures of life, and the joy found in the companionship of another. It serves as a respite for those who wish release from the burdens of their daily lives, and the stress that comes with it. So come in, relax, and choose your company - for what is time but a dream when away from reality?
From the Near East
The Gilded Sands is known for it's opulence and influence throughout Thavnair. Yet it's the Order's alternative for prostitution - that has it opening Viridian within the west. In the hopes of showcasing it's talent, and it's culture to Eorzea. It hopes that more establishments will follow the guilds example, or seek to join under it's banner as an affiliate.

Within the gardened walls of it's estate, and the welcoming arms of it's residents. There is more to be sampled, then merely the lush gardened decor and the trading of words into willing ears. From Patrons, to it's esteemed Clients, there is much more to be discovered behind it's doors.

Sunset Bathhouse
With a mixture of Far Eastern influences, and western privacy and comforts. Our bathhouse offers individual 'booths' for the enjoyment of our patrons, and their chosen company. With drinks able to be ordered within, and a variety of aromatic oils at one's fingertips. Our naturally filtered & heated baths will soothe your aches, and your worries.
Hingan Dusk Dojo
For some, the discipline of training, or a friendly spar between friends - is it's own salve to the soul. It's only within these walls that dulled weapons are permitted for use in such matters. Modeled after the dojo's of the far east, it's got enough room for two plus an audience - if such is your pleasure. Tea is also available on request for those who finish their routines.
Sunlit Garden
Want all the joys of a nice sunny day outside, but without worrying about the rain spoiling your afternoon tea? Then our indoor garden & Aviary is sure to please. With medicinal herbs, and aromatic plants sourced from all over the globe. It's a delight to the senses, and our resident butterflies and birds will satisfy the watcher within. Food and Drink is also on order upon request - just don't feed our feathered friends!
Client Lounge (Upper Teir)
Modeled after the pillow & Hookah lounges of the near east. This lounge caters to those who like to lay themselves out and relax with their chosen company. With live plants, stained glass to catch the sunlight, and water features. It offers a host of sights and sounds. Food & Drink is available within arms reach - and smoking is encouraged with our provided Hookahs and pipes.
Client Lounge (Lower Teir)
For those who favor darker lighting, our lower lounge is perfect for candlelight conversations, and shadowed delights. Wreathed in aquariums full of colorful fish - and with cigars available on request. It serves as an escape away from the foot traffic of the main establishment. Food, Drink, and smokes are available upon request - as are private dances if such is your fancy.
Sandstone Library
For some, there is no greater joy or luxury then a pot of warm tea or coffee with a good book. Our library offers that very enjoyment, and comes stocked with well loved tomes from all over the world. There is something for everyone on our shelves, if one simply pours over the spines - and our overnight guests can check them out for reading in bed.
The Twilight Stage
The performing arts have long been a valued tradition among companions for centuries. No den worth it's name would be complete without a theater, and one dedicated to the talented men and women who perform on it. To the delight of our patrons, Viridian offers both private shows and public ones for the enjoyment of our guests - and our talent!

Appetizers
Maple & Honey Candied Salmon
A Dravanian hunter's snack. These hot smoked salmon strips are baked in a blend of sweet honey and maple syrup for a non-sticky finger food. Crisp on the outside, with the moist tenderness of the smoked salmon beneath.
Viridian Bounty Salad
Fresh salad greens of romaine and spinach, is blended with fresh figs, aldgoat cheese, and walnuts. While served normally at half portion, you can ask for a full to upgrade it to a main meal.
Spicy Sand drake Curry Balls
These sand drake meatballs, are blended with savory herbs and spices before being baked until crisp. Only to then be glazed in a hot sauce of thavnarian red curry and hot peppers. The kick is slow to come, but fierce when it hits.
Bacon Wrapped Figs
A perfect blend of sweet and salty, these finger friendly bites are simplistic but delicious. Dried Thavnarian figs are wrapped in peppered bacon and are baked until crisp.
Main Courses
Cedar Plank Salmon
Moist, tender, and flavorful. These generous fillets of thanalan salmon are topped in savory seasoning, and glazed in a blend of gridanian honey and brown sugar. Then grilled on a cedar plank to give it the taste and flavor of cedar smoke.
Dodo Piccata
A traditional limsan dish, these tender dodo breasts are bathed in a buttery lemon sauce. Rubbed in savory seasonings before being baked, it's garnished in chopped parsley, capers, and finely grated cheese.
